Yes, Yes, Yes

Yes, Yes, Yes for Freedom: Tracy Eckard’s Journey of Faith and Action

When Tracy Eckard first heard about the Freedom Challenge, she was in a season of brokenness—longing for revival and a deeper connection with God. Through a Bible study called Mountains, she encountered a story that would change her life: a woman’s climb up Mount Kilimanjaro to raise awareness for human trafficking. That testimony sparked something in Tracy’s heart. “Oh, my heart be still,” she wrote in the margins of her book. It was a lightbulb moment—she could combine her love for movement and nature with a mission to help others.

The First Yes: A Personal Challenge

Tracy’s first step was saying yes to a personal challenge. With friends and family, she hiked rim-to-rim across the Grand Canyon—two grueling days of physical endurance. But this wasn’t just about fitness goals. It was about purpose. Through prayer, fundraising, and conversations, Tracy saw God move in powerful ways. Her community rallied, donations poured in, and hearts were opened to the reality of human trafficking.

The Second Yes: Arkansas Awakening

A year later, Tracy faced another invitation: a Freedom Challenge event in Arkansas. At first, she hesitated. Then, during a volunteer day at church, she learned about a local sting operation rescuing women and children from trafficking—right in her own county. “It completely wrecked me,” she recalls. That moment of heartbreak became a catalyst. Before her scheduled call with the Freedom Challenge team, Tracy signed up. Eleven women were rescued that day, and Tracy knew her yes mattered.

The Third Yes: Bringing Freedom Home

Now, Tracy is saying yes again—this time to hosting a one-day Freedom Challenge event in Texas. “I feel like God was going to come to Texas with or without me,” she says. Her obedience opened a door for others to experience embodied faith—where physical steps mirror spiritual surrender. As Romans 12:1 reminds us, “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.” For Tracy, every hike, every prayer, every conversation is an act of worship.

Why Your Yes Matters

Tracy’s story is a reminder that God doesn’t call the equipped—He equips the called. Each yes creates ripples of hope, freedom, and transformation. Whether through prayer, giving, or joining a challenge, your yes can change lives.
