Hope in the Balkans

People in the Balkans, a region in south east Europe that includes countries such as Croatia, Albania and Bosnia, have had their fair share of upheaval and uncertainty due to wars, economic struggles and border disputes.

These issues have left many women and children in vulnerable situations. The Freedom Challenge has been supporting a ministry in the Balkans that has seen many women's lives transformed. Women at risk of being abused or trafficked have found new skills and new hope.
